SINCE 1998
Founded in 1998, Arkel began its journey with the production of elevator control boards. Today, it stands as the industry’s leading brand in R&D and engineering services, designing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of products—from control boards, control panels, and emergency rescue systems to inspection and alarm sets, VVVF drives, integrated elevator control units, and other essential electronic devices for the sector.
FROM LOCAL ENGINEERING TO GLOBAL LEADERSHIP
As of 2025, Arkel reached a major milestone in its global growth strategy by joining the Innovalift group, part of the Swedish-based investment giant Investment AB Latour. This acquisition unites Innovalift’s global expertise in elevator components, control systems, and modernization solutions with Arkel’s engineering excellence under a single roof.

FROM PAST TO PRESENT
Building Our Foundation
We began our journey with the production of elevator control boards. By adopting an R&D and engineering-oriented approach, we took our first steps toward becoming a leading brand in the industry.
First Step into the Global Market
We began introducing our products to the world market by carrying out our first export operation.
Pioneer of Innovation
We designed and commenced the manufacturing of Turkey’s first domestic elevator motor drive. We expanded our vision by ensuring our products were fully compliant with European standards (EN81-1/2).
Entry into the European Market
Following our compliance with international standards, we began actively marketing our products across European Union countries.
One of the Top 3 Companies Worldwide
We launched our revolutionary integrated elevator drive, becoming one of the first three companies in the world to master this technology. Our Arcode integrated elevator control unit was honored with the prestigious Red Dot Award, a hallmark of excellence in industrial design.
TÜBİTAK First Prize
We were honored with the Technology Award, winning first place in our category at the technology awards organized in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey.
Joining Forces for Globalization
In line with our goal of becoming a global player, we strengthened our corporate structure by partnering with Mediterra Capital, a domestic private equity fund.
Growth in Our New Headquarters
We relocated to our new facility featuring 11,000 m² of indoor space. With a team exceeding 200 colleagues, we continued to provide customer-oriented solutions without pause.
International Expansion: India Office
We took a significant step in our global growth strategy by opening our office in Vadodara, India.
